Location: Mimiwangata Coastal Park.  Approximately 1 hour from Whangarei. Travel North on SH1, take the old WHangarie - Russel Road, then turn off at Helena Bay and continue on Webb Road, after Teal Bay the road is unsealed and winding. Continue on this road till the end - follow the signposts.

Time: Registration from 9.45 am, but maps will be given out at 10.15 am. There will be a short race brifing prioir to a mass start at 10.45 am

Costs: $10 per map

Mimiwhangata is a stunning place with varied land and seascapes, and home to recovering bird and marine species. It is a gully spur type map with wonderful views and beautiful beaches. Suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.

Mimiwhangata is a DOC reserve: no dogs allowed.

Bring compass, water, comfortable off-road shoes, food / lunch, togs.
