North West Orienteering Club is hosting an event on Sunday 14 April on the Robinson Road map in Riverhead Forest.

Eight courses will be offered; meaning there is a course suitable for all abilities from newcomers to elites. Our course planners have created new tracks to add interest to the easier courses.
Courses Offered
- Red 1/Red 2/Red 3/ Red 4 all offer technical and difficult orienteering.
- Purple (Red 5) is a technical but physically easier course - especially suited to experienced older orienteers
- Orange - Medium difficulty
- Yellow - Easy course, with controls on or near tracks and prominent line features. Recommended for first time orienteers.
- White - Very easy orienteering with controls on tracks and prominent features.
Starts from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. Course closure 2.00pm
There is an uphill walk to the start of approx. 5-10mins.

Driving Directions
If coming from Albany:
- Just after passing through Coatesville, turn Right off the Coatesville-Riverhead highway into Sunnyside Road and then Left into Robinson Road. Travel to the end of Robinson Rd to the forest gate which will be opened for orienteers only.
If coming from the West (Riverhead):
- Just before Coatesville, turn Left into Sunnyside Road and then LEFT into Robinson Road.Travel to the end of Robinson Rd to the forest gate which will be opened for orienteers only.
