While most of the club have been busy organising Oceania and WMG, a few of us have been working on a new website for NWOC. With a request from the exec to have the website live before Oceania, we are launching today a couple of days before the first race! The new website can be found at the URL https://www.nwoc.org.nz
The website includes the usual events, results, newsletter archive and membership sections as the old website. We have also added a Beginners section to introduce new people to orienteering and the club, plus Resources which has coaching tips, race reports and member profiles taken from old newsletters.
If you notice any issues or errors on the website or have any comments, please let me know on pommie.al@gmail.com One of the important things about this new website is everything is in the cloud, meaning we can have multiple people updating different sections and it doesn't all go back to Owen. Thanks to Jula, Owen, Nick and Ryan for their help in getting this up and running.
